AIMS EDUCATION SYSTEM

Department of English

Mission Statement:

English Department is aimed to employ the supremacy of Language to its extreme. As it has the power to awake, challenge, and even quake the learner by addressing profound questions about human identity, Islamic values and truthfulness of Allah Almighty. Through its ability to enter our minds, hearts, and actions, language offers us the most complete picture of our selves and what it means to be human. Language not only reflects our existence in the world, but also inspires change and the adventure of unforeseen possibilities.
English Department of AIMS Education system is striving not only to maintain the intrinsic value of language and encourages students to read across the boundaries of time, place, and culture, but also recognizes the historical and cultural contexts in which language is created. By exploring a wide range of literary and cultural working programs enables siblings to understand how the past informs the present and encourages them to become an archivist of both past works and present cultures.
The study of literature is both objective and a subjective. We train students to communicate effectively and to apply to all writing the critical and analytical skills learned in the study of language and literature.

Efforts:

As this is the matter of fact that “English is Linguafranca” i.e. language of the world. So in order to make our students confident and competent learner we have redesigned our syllabus accordingly. We have integrated four skills of language, in our course of study. Our lesson plans contain cohesion and coherence of language by getting support from audio-visual aids. Our teaching of English as foreign language is triggered by Islamic linkages. So that we can equip young Muslim learners with the tools of modern communication to excel in the world. We ask for Allah’s support to prosper our department and organization in their mission. Amen.
